Site Lead


For our client,  global regulatory and financial crime, risk and compliance company, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Site Lead, to lead the team based in Bucharest.
Our office is in a high growth phase and expanding to deliver a diversity of products to our clients globally. We are looking for an Office Leader who can provide on-the-ground leadership, guidance, and accountability to all professionals in the office, and who can drive operational excellence across all facets of the team. This role will serve as key local leadership for the company's professionals based in Bucharest today, and will play a vital role in the thoughtful and continued growth of company’s presence in Bucharest.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to all team members on daily operations, performance management, as well as professional behavior
  • Drive the development of a positive and engaging culture
  • Serve as a performance manager to senior members of the Bucharest team, each of whom fulfill a diverse functional roles
  • Support the development and implementation of evaluate policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and excellence
  • Adapt, implement, and uphold all appropriate global policies and procedures to harmonize the Bucharest team with the rest of the global business
  • Partner with the local Talent & Culture professional(s) on a variety of initiatives such as recruitment, performance management, and team development
  • Coordinate between all functional areas in Bucharest to ensure a smooth process of product creation and delivery, and the highest possible quality
  • Provide regular updates to global leadership team on operational initiatives and priorities as well as overall team performance
  • Coordinate with the appropriate team members to manage vendor relationships and vendor quality
  • Partner with appropriate functional teams to implement technology-driven solutions to operational challenges
  • Set and uphold process and personal performance standards

  • Project management experience
  • Rigorous attention to detail
  • Familiarity and proficiency working with data in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Prior experience of business and financial operations data
  • Ability to travel to other office locations, as needed
  • Professional proficiency in English

Professional experience required: 
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree or relevant certification preferred
  • 15+ years of relevant work experience with progressively enhanced management experience
