Product Material Compliance
Client Description:
Adecco Permanent Placement is looking for a Product Material Compliance lead for one of its clients, a world’s leading manufacturer of precision fabrics from monofilaments for the screen printing and filtration markets.
The product material compliance engineer is responsible for ensuring that our products meet all regulatory, environmental, and safety standards related to the materials used in manufacturing. Compliance Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to drive compliance initiatives and minimize risk related to material sourcing, usage, and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
Processing and maintenance of the product and material compliance database
Requesting product and material compliance via Purchasing
Evaluating data sheets and confirmations from material suppliers
Requesting, evaluating and maintaining the material safety data sheets MDS for our products
Collaboration in the development, recording and evaluation of QSHE KPIs in the Group User CAQ
Collaboration in the development and implementation of internal QSHE training courses 'worldwide'
Objective:
Development, coordination and monitoring of product and material compliance with laws, directives, standards and interested parties
Creation of certificates for product and material compliance
Processing of customer questionnaires
Continuous improvement of the QSHE system in interdisciplinary teams on the basis of ISO 9001, ISO 14001
Candidate Profile:
Competencies and powers:
The employee has access to all information that serves to fulfill the assigned tasks
The general competencies are regulated by the internally valid documents such as the rules of procedure and competence regulations, management list, management level and signature regulations, organization chart, staffing plan, house rules and other generally valid documents
Participation in QSHE and quality-related meetings
Further training in accordance with the agreed 3-year development plan
Special competencies:
Authorized to interrupt or block the product creation process or the delivery of products in the event of deviations
Requirements:
Professional requirements: Basic technical or commercial training (textiles an advantage)
Natural science (additional) studies (chemistry)
Further training in compliance, quality, environment
Professional experience preferably in product and material compliance
Language skills:
English and German spoken and written
IT/PC skills (MS Office)
Readiness for database support (Lotus Notes) CAQ knowledge
Personal requirements/work behavior:
